🔒 Amped Auto Rentals does not sell your personal information or mobile phone number. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected.
The Short Version: Amped Auto Rentals is a registered Fictitious Name (DBA) of Clear Bright & Smart Diversified Holdings LLC, a Florida limited liability company. We are a delivery-only EV and mixed-fleet car rental service based in Miami Gardens, Florida. We collect only the information needed to book your rental, verify your identity, process payment, and deliver your vehicle safely. We do not sell your personal data or mobile phone number. 1Who We Are

This Privacy Policy applies to Amped Auto Rentals, a registered Fictitious Name (DBA) of Clear Bright & Smart Diversified Holdings LLC, a Florida limited liability company filed with the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations. When this policy says "Amped Auto Rentals," "we," "us," or "our," it refers to Clear Bright & Smart Diversified Holdings LLC doing business as Amped Auto Rentals, together with any authorized agents or delivery drivers operating on our behalf.

We are a delivery-only car rental service serving Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties in South Florida. We do not operate a physical storefront or walk-in location. Vehicles are delivered directly to your home, hotel, airport, office, or other agreed location.

This policy covers information collected through our websites at ampedautorentals.com, book.ampedautorentals.com, and electriccarrentalsmiami.com, email communications, SMS/text messaging under the Amped Auto Rentals SMS Program, and all interactions related to booking or renting a vehicle from us.

2Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: directly from you, automatically through your use of our websites, and from trusted third-party partners.

3How We Use Your Information

Opt-Out at Any Time: Click "Unsubscribe" in any marketing email, or reply STOP to any SMS. Opting out of marketing will not affect transactional messages about active reservations that are necessary to perform your rental.

4How We Share Your Information

We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information. Amped Auto Rentals does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data — including mobile phone numbers and SMS consent data — to any third party or affiliate for their own commercial or marketing purposes. Period.

4(b) — Delivery Drivers

Our on-call delivery drivers receive your first name, phone number, and delivery address solely to complete your vehicle drop-off or pickup. They are prohibited from using this information for any other purpose.

4(c) — Legal & Safety Disclosures

4(d) — Business Transfers

If Amped Auto Rentals or Clear Bright & Smart Diversified Holdings LLC undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may transfer to the acquiring entity. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Program Name: Amped Auto Rentals SMS Program. This section explains how Amped Auto Rentals handles your mobile phone number and SMS consent data under the Amped Auto Rentals SMS Program, in accordance with CTIA and wireless carrier guidelines.

🔒 Your Mobile Number Is Not Shared With Third Parties for Marketing. Amped Auto Rentals does not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number or SMS consent data to any third party, affiliate, or partner for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers are shared only with service providers (such as Twilio for SMS delivery) strictly for the purpose of delivering messages under this program. This information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes under any circumstances.
How You Provide SMS Consent

You provide consent to receive SMS messages from Amped Auto Rentals through one of three separate methods. In every method, consent for marketing SMS is collected separately from consent for transactional SMS via a distinct, unchecked-by-default checkbox or opt-in action:

  • SMS Sign-Up Page (primary): Visit ampedautorentals.com/sms-signup and complete the form. You select consent via two separate checkboxes — one for booking & service messages (transactional), and one for promotions & special offers (marketing, optional, unchecked by default).
  • Direct Booking Checkout: When completing a direct booking at book.ampedautorentals.com, you provide consent only for transactional SMS messages required to perform your rental (booking confirmations, delivery coordination). Marketing SMS consent is not collected at checkout.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your booking activity. For marketing messages (if you opt in), Amped Auto Rentals sends up to 6 messages per month. For transactional messages, you may receive multiple messages per booking during active delivery and return coordination.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Amped Auto Rentals does not charge a fee for SMS messages sent or received under this program, but your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates will apply based on your wireless plan. Contact your mobile carrier for details.

How to Get Help & How to Opt Out

To get help at any time, reply HELP to any SMS message, or contact Amped Auto Rentals directly at (786) 981-1177 or [email protected].

To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to any SMS message at any time. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further marketing or promotional SMS from this program. You may also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT.

Consent Is Not a Condition of Rental

Consent to receive marketing SMS messages from Amped Auto Rentals is not a condition of any purchase or rental. To book a rental without providing marketing SMS consent, call (786) 981-1177 and we will complete your reservation by phone, or complete your booking at book.ampedautorentals.com without opting into marketing messages.

Data Retention for SMS Consent Records

SMS consent records — including your phone number, consent status (transactional and marketing separately), timestamp, IP address, and user agent — are retained by Amped Auto Rentals for up to 3 years from the date of your last interaction, for the purpose of dispute resolution and compliance with carrier regulations. You may request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].

5Identity Verification

Because Amped Auto Rentals delivers vehicles without a traditional in-person counter check-in, we use Vouched — a third-party identity verification service — to confirm your identity and driver's license validity before any vehicle delivery.

What Vouched Collects
  • A photo or scan of your government-issued driver's license
  • A selfie photograph for facial match verification
  • Date of birth and license expiration date
Third-Party Policy: Vouched's handling of your biometric and identification data is governed by Vouched's own privacy policy at vouched.id/privacy-policy. Amped Auto Rentals receives only a pass/fail result and confidence score — we do not store your raw biometric data on our servers.

6Payment Processing

All payment transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor. Amped Auto Rentals does not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment card data on our servers.

Stripe provides us with a tokenized reference to your payment method. Your payment information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Amped Auto Rentals retains records of transaction amounts, dates, and booking references for accounting, dispute resolution, and tax compliance. Some post-rental charges — including Tesla Supercharger fees and toll invoices — may be billed to your payment method on file days or weeks after your rental ends. You authorize this upon booking.

When data is no longer needed, Amped Auto Rentals securely deletes or anonymizes it.

9Your Privacy Rights

  • Right to Non-Discrimination: Amped Auto Rentals will not deny you service or charge you differently for exercising your privacy rights

10Notice for Florida Residents

Florida residents may have additional rights under the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA), Fla. Stat. § 501.171 and the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR), effective July 1, 2024.

Under the FDBR, Florida consumers have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. Amped Auto Rentals does not sell personal data.

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, Amped Auto Rentals will notify affected individuals in accordance with Florida law — within 30 days of determination of breach — and report to the Florida Department of Legal Affairs where required.

11Children's Privacy

Our services are intended solely for adults aged 21 and older (our minimum rental age). Amped Auto Rentals does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will promptly delete it. 13Changes to This Privacy Policy

Amped Auto Rentals may update this policy to reflect changes in our business practices, legal requirements, or technology. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Post a notice on our website homepage for at least 14 days
  • Send an email notification to customers with active or recent rental accounts

Your continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
